Asante Kotoko continued to dominate the game and broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, Yussif Mubarik was at the right place to tap a rebound into the net.
Hearts of Oak pulled parity in the 88th minute, Caleb Amankwah headed in a free-kick from Suraj Seidu to make it 1-1.
