Communication Director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has divulged that his outfit will make no changes in the prices of tickets for Sunday’s clash with rivals Asante Kotoko.
Earlier this week, Hearts of Oak who due to Covid-19 protocols were expecting to admit only 25% capacity of fans at the Accra Sports Stadium for their game against Asante Kotoko released ticket prices for the game.
The tickets ranged from GHS50 to GHS200, depending on where the viewer will be seated.
On Friday evening, NSA announced that it has received an official clearance from the Ghana Health Service/COVID-19 Taskforce that the game can be played in full capacity of the stadium.
In that effect, the Phobians were expected to reduce the prices of the ticket. However, spokesperson of the club, Opare Addo has revealed the the club has no intention of doing that.
“We can’t do anything about the tickets. The prices remain unchanged. It will not be fair for us to reduce the prices especially some have already been sold out at the initial prices,” Opare Addo told Oyerepa FM.
The much anticipated clash between the old foes will kickoff at 15:00 GMT. The two teams are separated by 12 points on the league table, Asante Kotoko sit top with 36 points, whiles Hearts of Oak are in 8th place with 24 points.
