The Black Princesses (Female U-20 team) will face their Nigeria counterparts in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup currently taking place in Kumasi.
Ghana secured a place in the final after coming from a goal down to beat Burkina Faso 3-1. The Black Princesses found themselves a goal down in the opening 5 minutes of the game.
Stella Nyame restored parity for the Princesses in the 13th minute when she scored from a well taken free-kick. The Princesses went ahead in the 28th minute, Success Ameyaa scored from long range.
In the 83rd minute, Faiza Seidu scored to make 3-1. The goal which wrapped up the win for the Princesses came 5 minutes after goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku had saved a penalty to prevent Burkina Faso from leveling the score.
Nigeria on the other hand secured a place in the final after beating Benin 3-0. Esther Onyenezide scored a brace, while Amina Bello scored the other goal.
The final between the two sworn enemies is scheduled for Saturday, June 3 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
