Head coach of Mali senior male national team, Mohamed Magassouba has released his 31-man squad for next month’s friendly against Ghana.
Mali haven’t been in action since November last year and will return to action on October 9, 2020 in Antalya, Turkey in a friendly match against the Black Stars of Ghana.
This is to prepare for their 2022 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Namibia in November.
Coach Mohamed Magassouba handed debut call-ups to Wolverhampton’s Adama Traoré, who is also eligible to play for Spain, Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure and Stade de Reims’ El Bilal Touré.
Stade Malien’s goalkeeper Djigui Diarra is the only home based player in the squad.
