Bankroller for Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei “Palmer” has poured cold water on reports suggesting he received in excess of €500,000 as Development fee from Arsenal after Partey’s move from Atletico Madrid.

Thomas Partey, who played for Revelation Fc and Tema Youth before moving to Spain to sign for Atletico Madrid sealed a €50m move to Arsenal in October.

As per FIFA rules, Revelation Fc and Tema Youth which are the teams Partey played for during his formative years are expected to get some financial benefits from the big move as Development fees.

Just last week, it was reported by numerous Ghanaian media outlets that Revelation FC received in excess of €750,000, whiles Tema Youth received €500,000.

However, Palmer has debunked those claims, claiming he’s yet to receive anything from Arsenal.

“We are yet to receive anything from Arsenal for Thomas Partey. I don’t know where those reports are coming from as far as we are concerned,” he told Graphic Sports.

“I was surprised to read on the internet that we have received the said amount because that is not the reality on the ground,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey who recently recuperated from a knee injury is expected to feature for Arsenal in the Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Thursday.
