“What’s coming is bigger than what’s gone” – Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen on return after a year injury layoff

Burgeoning midfielder Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen will be in Hearts of Oak’s match day squad for the first time since February 2021.

Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen has been out of action for a year. He picked up an injury whiles playing for Hearts of Oak in a league match against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium in February 2021.

The former U-23 midfielder has now recuperated from the injury and has been registered by the Phobians for the second round of the 2021/22 Premier League.

Nurudeen will be in the team’s squad for the Mantse derby and he’s expected to play a role in the game. Speaking ahead of his official return, the 23-year old has told the fans of the club to expect something big from him.

“My message to the fans, the Hearts fans, the Phobia fans is, they should expect something big. What’s even coming is even bigger than what’s gone. I’m coming back very stronger and bringing them greatness. They should expect something big from me Insha Allah.

“And am also ambitious about winning the Ghana Premier league with them again as well as the FA Cup,” Nurudeen told MahamaShaibu.com.

Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen’s return is a big boost for Samuel Boadu’s side. Boadu will hope Aziz will step in to fill the big void left by Benjamin Afutu.
