“We don’t care who we are playing with” – Samuel Boadu calms tension ahead of Kotoko clash

Hearts of Oak’s poor run in the league continued as they were held to a scoreless draw by Real Tamale United (RTU) in Tamale earlier today.

The draw means the league holders have picked just 4 points from the last available 12 and continue to fall behind league leaders Asante Kotoko who they play next weekend.

The game against Asante Kotoko was initially
scheduled to take place in December 2021 but
was postponed due to the Phobian’s participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Speaking ahead of the game, Samuel Boadu said: “Absolutely! we don’t care who we are playing with. It’s a competition and we are competing with all the clubs, so we correct our mistakes and work extra hard to play the Kotoko match,” he told StarTimes after the scoreless draw against RTU.

Hearts of Oak currently sit in 8th place on the league table with 24 points from 16 games, 12 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
