The first half of the game was without goals, both teams came close to scoring but the two goalkeepers were at their best to keep the scoreline barren.
In the 84th minute, Asante Kotoko broke the deadlock, center-back Issah Nyaabila unfortunately directed a crossing from Steven Mukwala into his own net.
The lead didn’t last long as the home side pulled parity two minutes later, substitute Babamu Ibrabim latched onto a loose ball in the 18-yard box to make it 1-1.
The remaining minutes of the game saw no goals as the teams walked away with a point each.
