Posted by Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Accra Lions 1-0 to close the gap on leaders Aduana FC to 3 points.
The first half of the game was cagily contested but produced no goals. Both goalkeepers were at their best to keep the game barren.
Hearts of Oak started the second 45 minutes with added impetus and opened the scoring in the 65th minute through Linda Mtange.
In the remaining minutes of the game, Accra Lions pushed for the equalizer but Hearts of Oak held on to win 1-0.
