Ghana after sustaining early pressure from Nigeria opened the scoring in the 38th minute, Stella Nyamekye scored from a spot-kick.
Nigeria after going down dominated most parts of the game and leveled the score in the 86th minute, Flourish Sabastien capitalized on an error by Goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku to make it 1-1.
The game ended 1:1 in regular time and headed to a penalty shootout. Afi Amenyaku saved three efforts from the Nigeria team, Comfort Yeboah, Stella Nyamekye and Mary Amponsah converted their kicks to hand Ghana the WAFU B U20 Girls trophy.
