Former Dreams FC forward, Zuberu Sharani scored the only goal in the first leg of the second round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers between Slovan Bratislava and HŠK Zrinjski Mostar at the Stadion Pod Bijelim Brijegom on Tuesday evening.
Slovan Bratislava won the game 1-0 to take advantage into the second leg to be played at the Tehelne Pole Stadion in Bratislava on Tuesday, August 1.
Ghanaian international Zuberu Sharani lasted 83 minutes on the field and scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute when he leapt high to head in a precise delivery from a free-kick taken by Lucas Lovat.
Zuberu Sharani’s goal was his first official goal for the club since arriving earlier this year on a free.
Compatriot Malik Abubakari was also in action for Bratislava, coming on in the 67th minute for Marko Tolic.
