A late penalty from Abdul Manaf Umar handed Accra Hearts of Oak a 2-1 victory against Kumasi King Faisal.
Hearts of Oak drew first blood in the 20th minute, Benjamin Afutu tapped home from close range to make it 1-0 for Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians had the chance to make it 2-0 in the 35th minute, Patrick Razak was sent through on goal, but goalkeeper Kaisan Yuisu came off his line to save the situation.
King Faisal went into the break a goal down but found themselves level just 3 minutes after the break, Kwadwo Frimpong scored with a fine header to make it 1-1.
The Phobians had the last laugh, they were awarded a penalty in the dying embers of the game after Pius Baffour Awuah handled the ball in the box. Auroras graduate Abdul Manaf Umar stepped up and planted the ball home to give Hearts of Oak a 2-1 victory.
