Posted by Asante Kotoko defeated Legon Cities 1-0 to record their first win of the season.
Kwame Poku and Emmanuel Keyekeh came close to opening the scoring in the first 10 minutes, but two decent saves from Fatau Dauda kept the scoreline leveled.
Kotoko took the lead in the 11th minute, Ibrahim Osman connected with a low cross from Godfred Asiamah to make it 1-0.
Legon Cities had their own share of chances, Raphael Ocloo, David Cudjoe and Joseph Adjei missed those decent opportunities.
Kotoko nearly made it 2-0 in the 83rd minute, Emmanuel Gyamfi after a quick free kick found himself in a 1 on 1 situation with Fatau Dauda but he failed to beat the experienced goalie.
The game ended 1-0. Kotoko pick their first win of the season, whiles the search for a first win of the season for Legon Cities continues.
