Ahead of Atlético Madrid’s UEFA Champions league quarterfinal game against Leipzig at the José Alvalade stadium in Lisbon on Thursday, Ghana and Atlético Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey has in an interview with Super Sports narrated his journey to the top.
The 27-year-old narrated how he started playing on the dirt and crummy pitches of Ghana to playing for one of the biggest clubs in the World, Atlético Madrid, being acknowledged as one of the best defensive midfielders in World football and playing in one of the biggest competitions in World football, Uefa Champions league.
Although playing for Atlético Madrid and in the UEFA Champions league is a dream come true for Thomas Partey, he still dreams of reaching higher heights and winning major laurels with the club.
