Posted by Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey was on target in Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 away win against Getafe at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
Atletico Madrid opened the scoring in the 54th minute through a beautiful strike from Marcos Llorente.
Thomas Partey who started the game on the bench came on in the 67th minute for Saul Niguez.
He scored in the 80th minute to put the game to bed and hand his side all 3 points. Atletico Madrid are now unbeaten in 17 games in all competitions.
The goal was Partey’s 3rd goal of the season in 35 La Liga appearances.
Atletico Madrid will finish their La Liga season on Sunday. They welcome Real Sociedad to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, before switching attention to the Champions league where they’ll face Leipzig for the Quarterfinals in August.
