VIDEO: Mohammed Kudus scores his 5th league goal of the season as Ajax maul Excelsior

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored his 5th league goal of the season for Ajax in a 7-1 victory against Excelsior at the Johan Cruijff Arena in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Mohammed Kudus started the game from the bench as Ajax raced into a 3-0 lead before the interval. Jorge Sanchez, Steven Berghuis and Brain Brobbey were on target.

Ajax continued to control the game and scored two more goals in the opening 20 minutes of the second half through Brain Brobbey and Dusan Tadic.

In the 74th minute, Kudus was introduced into the game. The Ghanaian midfielder took just 6 minutes to announce his presence, scoring the 7th after Steven Bergwijn had scored the 6th.

Later in the game, Nikolas Agrafiotis grabbed the face saving goal for Excelsior.

Mohammed Kudus has now scored 5 goals in 10 league appearances and 8 goals in 14 games in all competitions.
