Mohammed Kudus continued his fine form for Ajax with a splendid goal in their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield in the second Group A games of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.
The Ghanaian international who has in fine form in recent weeks was rewarded with another start by Head Coach Alfred Schreuders.
Liverpool struck first in the 17th minute of the game, Diogo Jota slipped Mohammed Salah through to score his first goal in five games.
Ajax hit back in the 27th minute, Mohammed Kudus after receiving a pass from Steven Berghuis controlled the ball beautifully and smashed an unstoppable rocket into the net, his 5th goal in his last 4 games.

Mohammed Kudus and Ajax from then had to do most of the defending as Liverpool saw more of the ball and created the best chances. Kudus was subbed off in the 86th minute of the game.
Just minutes after going off, Joel Matip headed in a cross from Konstantinos Tsimikas to give Liverpool a 2-1 late win
