VIDEO: Kudus Mohammed nets debut Ajax goal in preseason friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt

Ajax new signee Kudus Mohammed was on target for the first time for his new outfit in a preseason friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kudus Mohammed who joined Ajax for €9m from Danish side Nordsjælland last month started the game from the bench.

Ajax went into the half time break a goal up, goal courtesy Quincy Promes.

Kudus was introduced into the game after the recess, he came on for Burkinabe international Lassina Traoré.

The 20-year-old didn’t waste time to announce his introduction, he cooly slotted home a fine lay off from Anthony Santos to make it 2-0 for Ajax, his first goal for the side.

The youngster after scoring the goal wheeled away and pulled off the Wakanda salute celebration to commemorate Black Panther fame Chadwick Boseman, who passed away on Friday evening.

Frankfurt grabbed the face saving goal in the 51st minute, Andre Silva the scorer from a corner kick.

Both sides from then pushed men forward to grab another goal, but there was little to change the score line, Ajax won the game 2-1.

Ajax have now won 7 out of 7 preseason games played, with Kudus Mohammed featuring in 4 of those games.

The Dutch Champions will begin their Eredivisie title defense on September 13 when they travel to the Het Kasteel stadium to play Sparta Rotterdam.
