Kamaldeen Sulemana scored a brace for Southampton in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Liverpool at the St. Mary’s Park, bidding goodbye to the Premier League.

Liverpool had a fast start to the game and found themselves 2-0 up after 14 minutes of play, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino scored for the Reds.

Southampton pulled a goal back in the 19th minute through James Ward-Prowse, before leveling the score in the 28th minute through Kamaldeen Sulemana, his maiden Premier League goal.

Three minutes into the second half, Southampton turned the game around. Kamaldeen Sulemana after winning the ball in his own half sprinted from one end of the pitch to the other before curling home from the edge of the box.

Adam Armstrong made it 4-2 in the 64th minute, but Southampton failed to hold onto the lead as Liverpool scored twice in the remaining minutes of the game to draw 4-4, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota the scorers.
