Crystal Palace doubled their lead in the 36th minute, Eberechi Eze unleashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box after he was set up by Michael Olise from a corner-kick.
Jordan Ayew whose goal was his first this season was subbed off in the 74th minute as Palace won 2-0 and moved into 11th place.
Compatriot Jeffery Schlupp lasted the entire duration and was decent throughout.
