Ghana forward Jordan Ayew provided an assist for Crystal Palace in their 1-1 draw against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Jordan Ayew was handed a starting role by head coach Roy Hodgson and lasted the entire duration in a cagily contested game.

Brentford went ahead after just 18 minutes of play, Kevin Schade curled in a beautiful shot pass a helpless Sam Johnstone.

Crystal Palace pulled parity in the 76th minute, Joachim Anderson after a give and go with Jordan Ayew slide tackled the ball through the legs of goalkeeper Mark Flekken.

The goal was the last goal in the game, both teams walked away with a point in a 1-1 draw.

Jordan Ayew’s assist was his second this season in three league appearances for Palace.

Meanwhile, compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp was also in action for Palace, lasting 71 minutes.
