Former Accra Lions midfielder Ibrahim Rahim scored a brace for Trencin in a 5-2 defeat to MSK Zilina on Saturday.
MSK Zilina went into the halftime break 3-0 up, courtesy goals from Patrick Il’ko, David Duris and Andrian Kapralik.
In the 60th minute, Ibrahim pulled a goal back for Trencin, connecting to a precise corner-kick taken by Slovakian international, Matus Kmet.
David Duris scored again in the 83rd minute to make 4-1. Three minutes later, Ibrahim Rahim also scored again to make it 4-2, firing in a low shot pass the goalkeeper.
In additional team, Ghanaian International Henry Addo scored to make it 5-2 and roundup the win for MSK Zilina.
The brace from Ibrahim Rahim raised his goal scoring tally in the Slovakian topflight league this season to 3 goals in 3 games.
