Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu bagged a hat-trick for Trelleborgs FF in their 4-1 demolishing of Dalkurd in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday.
Erik Andersson opened the scoring for Trelleborgs FF in the 8th minute.
Abdul Fatawu made it 2-0 in the 11th minute after he went round the goalkeeper, dummied the defenders and then placed the ball home.
Trelleborgs FF’s lead was halved in the 22nd minute, Kerfala Cissoko scored from the spot to make it 2-1.
Fatawu Safiu extended Trelleborgs FF’s lead in the 41st minute with a paneka penalty.
The former Asante Kotoko forward buried the game in the 43th minute. He controlled a long ball from his own half, dummied the defenders and then beat the goalkeeper.
The game saw no goals in the second half. Abdul Fatawu Safiu was subbed off in the 83rd minute.
