Dreams FC came from a goal down to beat Milo de Kankan 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, in the process securing a place in the final qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Milo de Kankan stunned the Accra Sports Stadium when they took the lead in the 13th minute, Seydou Bamgoura reacted the quickest to tap in a rebound after a good save by Goalkeeper Augustine Koomson.
Dreams FC after going down survived numerous scares and as well created some good chances but wasted them until the 85th minute when Agyenim Boateng Mensah rolled the ball into the net from a spot-kick.
In the 89th minute, Dreams FC scored again to turn the game around, John Antwi leapt high to head in a precise crossing from a corner-kick taken Abdul Aziz Issah.
The remaining minutes of the game saw Milo push for the equalizer but Dreams held on to win 2-1 and secure a place in the final qualifying round, where they’ll face Kallon FC for a place in the group stages.
