Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman continued is fine start to life at Greek fold PAOK with another faultless performance against Hajduk Split in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europe Conference League at home on Thursday.
Baba Rahman lasted the entire duration in what was his fourth consecutive start for the team since arriving on a free transfer following the mutual termination of his contract with Chelsea.
The Ghanaian was nearly unplayable down the left flank throughout the game. He was alert to stop dangerous attacks from the opposition, while combining well with Andrija Zivkovic in attack as PAOK won the game 3-0 on the night and on aggregate.
PAOK after a gallant defensive display in the first leg in Croatia registered their intent after just 12 minutes into the return encounter, taking the lead through a spot-kick converted by Stefan Schwab.
In the second half, Serbian international Andrija Zivkovic who had a fine connection with Baba all game scored two goals to secure a 3-0 win for his team and a place in the playoff round of the qualifiers.
The Greek side will now come up against Scottish fold Hearts of Midlothian, with the winner securing a place in the group stages of the UEFA Europe Conference League.
