Nketiah is expected to at least spent a week in Ghana, where he’ll visit some of his family and friends, and also do some charity works.
The arrival of the Arsenal forward reignites reports of him switching allegiance to represent the Ghana national team.

Eddie Nketiah who has represented England at youth level (U-18, 19, 20, 21) and his eligible to play for Ghana through his parents has been a long-term target for Ghana.
In recent months, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) held numerous discussions with Nketiah with the hope of convincing him to play for the Black Stars at the World Cup. However, all efforts were efficacious.

Per reports, the Arsenal striker turned down all advances from the Ghana FA with the hopes of making it into England’s squad for the global showpiece event. Howbeit, his lack of playing minutes at Arsenal didn’t permit that to happen.
