The 16 year old has been one of the revelations of the season. He’s fast making his name in his debut Premier league season, setting up goals and scoring one himself.
Mathew Cudjoe’s pace and trickery makes him a nuisance to the opposition, he’s a thorn in the flesh of the opposition.
Speaking to Kotoko Express App, the youngster revealed that he aspires to reach Lionel Messi’s level.
“I am focusing on my game,” said Anim Cudjoe. “I am training, sleeping well and following the instructions that my father (Samuel Anim Cudjoe), coaches and my teammates are giving me.”
“I listen to them a lot and always try to do what they tell me to do. If God permits, I can reach the level where Lionel Messi, Abedi Pele, and Asamoah Gyan reached. That is my target.”
