Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has become a prime target for his former outfit Las Palmas and Italian Seria outfit A Hellas Verona.

Boateng, who has a year left on his contract with Fiorentina is unlikely to be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi come the start of the 2020/21 football season.

The 33-year-old appears not to be counted by manager Guissppe Lanchini, who will like to ship the Ghanaian midfielder out to bring in targets like Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira and Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos.

Boateng, who spent last season on loan at Besiktas has been given an escape route by erstwhile side Las Palmas.

According to the Spanish media, Las Palmas have made contact with Boateng wanting him to return to the club as they hope to return to the Spanish top flight league by the end of the 2020/21 season.

The Ghanaian international is also wanted by Hellas Verona who finished 9th in Seria A last season and would want to better that.

However, it remains unclear whether either of the two sides will be able to afford his wages or whether Boateng will take a pay cut to join.

According to Transfermarkt, Kevin-Prince Boateng is valued at €3.00m by Fiorentina.

Boateng joined Fiorentina for €1.00m from Sassoulo in 2019. The former Barcelona player has featured in 14 games for Fiorentina, scoring a goal.
