Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban has emerged as a top target for most European clubs.
After spending the 2018/19 season on loan at Trabzonspor, Ekuban joined the Turkish club permanently from Leeds United last summer.
The forward has been in fine form for Trabzonspor this season. Scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in 33 games.
According to reports, Ekuban’s scintillating performances this season has attracted Spanish top flight club Celta Vigo.
Manager Oscar Garcia is hoping to acquire the services of the Ghanaian international to bolster his squad ahead of the new season. Ekuban is expected to give support upfront to the aging Iago Aspas.
Celta Vigo won’t acquire the services of Ekuban on a silver platter. They’ll have to beat the likes of Celtic, Rangers, Lazio, Brighton and Saudi club Al Hilal.
The 26-year-old has a contract with Trabzonspor that runs until 2022. He is valued at €5m.
