Three Ghanaian players who could make a transfer move on deadline day

The January transfer window for the 2022/23 European season heads into the final day and so much is expected to happen on the final day.

With that in mind, we look at three (3) Ghanaian players who are likely to make a transfer move:

1. Andre Ayew

Andre Ayew is currently without a club after mutually parting ways with Al-Sadd. The Black Stars skipper since leaving the Qatari giants has been linked with a plethora of clubs, including Olympique Marseille where started his career. Other clubs reportedly interested in the 33-year old include Qatari fold Al-Rayyan, English Premier League sides West Ham United, Everton and so on.

2. Kamaldeen Sulemana

Regraded as one of the talented youngsters in world football currently. Kamaldeen Sulemana who was the fastest player at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has struggled to show his full capabilities at Stade Rennes due to lack of playing minutes. The 20-year old is open to leaving the french side by the end of today. Per a report from L’equipe, Everton and Southampton have a 25 million euro bid accepted by Stade Rennes for the Ghanaian who will now decide on which of the two clubs to sign for by the close of the day.

3. Tariq Lamptey

Another talented Ghanaian player who has struggled for playing minutes. Lamptey has started just 1 league game for Brighton all season. The Ghanaian right-back is unhappy with the situation and is open to leaving the club by the close of today. Per reports, Olympique Lyon and Sporting Lisbon have shown heavy interest in the player and will try to sign him before the window closes.
