Three clubs to use Accra Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko submit Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as alternative venue: Submitted venues by Premier League clubs for 2023/24 season

All 18 Premier League Clubs have submitted their match venues ahead of the start of the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League in September.

As part of the regulations of the Ghana FA, all 18 clubs to participate in the country’s top flight league are mandated to submit a main stadium, alternative stadium and a separate training facility for inspection ahead of the commencement of the new season.

Three clubs have submitted the Accra Sports Stadium as their home ground. The clubs include Hearts of Oak, Accra Lions and Great Olympics who at some point last season moved to the Sogakope RedBull Arena.

Despite rumors that Asante Kotoko will move to the Dr. Kyei Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, the club submitted the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as its home ground, while submitting the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as their alternative venue.

Medeama submitted the newly constructed, Tarkwa and Aboso (T and A) stadium as their main home ground, while submitting the Akoon Park as their alternative home ground.

New boys, Heart of Lions, Bofoakwa Tano and Nations FC have submitted the Kpando Sports Stadium, Sunyani Coronation Park and the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as their respective home grounds

Meanwhile, the Club Licensing Board will begin the process of inspecting the various facilities submitted by all 18 Premier League clubs. A final decision on the grounds will be published by Monday, August 28.
