Thomas Partey reportedly receives a $200 million offer from a Saudi Arabian club

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has received a mouthwatering offer from an undisclosed club from Saudi Arabia, per a report from celebrated Ghanaian journalist and former spokesperson of the Ghana FA, Ibrahim Sannie Daara.

Thomas Partey has in recent days being linked with a move away from Arsenal, with Juventus, Monaco and a number of Saudi Arabian clubs said to be keen.

The 30-year-old’s current Arsenal contract expires in June 2025 and Arsenal are happy to cash in now, rather than run the risk of losing him for free in the future.

Per a report from Ibrahim Sannie Daara, an unnamed Saudi club has made an extraordinary offer of $200 million in 2 years wages to secure the services of the talented midfielder.

The report further stipulates that Partey will earn an annual, tax-free salary of $100 million if he agrees to join the Saudi club. The lucrative offer is believed to be from one of Al Ahli, Al Nassr and Al Khaleej.

Meanwhile, Juventus who are longtime admirers of the Ghanaian midfielder have intensified their interest in him. Per reports, the Italian giants have already agreed personal terms with Partey and are now in discussion with Arsenal over a transfer fee.

Partey joined Arsenal for €50m in October 2020 from Atletico Madrid, where he had made 188 appearances over five years with the La Liga side.

The Ghanaian has played 99 times for Arsenal, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
