Thomas Partey breaks silence on his comparison with Casemiro

Arsenal and Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has taken excitement from his comparison with Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.

Thomas Partey is currently enjoying a fine season with Arsenal in the English Premier League, charging the team to a league title challenge – the first time since the 2015/16 season.

The performances of the Ghanaian has seen earned him comparisons with Casemiro who joined Manchester United in the previous summer and rated amongst the best midfielders in the world.

Speaking to the media after Arsenal’s 3-0 victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, Partey was quizzed about the comparison and he said: “I have to concentrate on my work,” he told beIN SPORTS as quoted by MyJoyOnline.

“I am really happy to be at least seen by some people and I think the most important thing is to keep helping the team, which is the mentality I have and also to work on myself.”

Thomas Partey went on to share what he and his teammates must do with if they want to be crown champions of England by the end of the ongoing season.

“I think the team is really working hard. We go game after game and every game is important for us, trying to give our best and try to win every game as we have done.”

“At the end, we need to earn the right to win and the team is really working hard to be able to win the games.”

Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table with 66 points from 27 games, 5 more points than 2nd place Manchester City and with 11 games to end the season.
