The Ghana national team has been handed a major boost for the friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua following the return of midfielders Thomas Partey and Baba Iddrisu.
Thomas Partey has not featured for Arsenal in any of their last four games in all competitions due to a recurring thigh injury that has blighted his progress at the club since he joined in October 2020.
Per reports, Thomas Partey has recuperated from the injury and has resumed full training. The 29-year old is expected to be in the team to face Brentford this weekend at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Real Mallorca midfielder Baba Iddrisu has as well recovered from a muscle injury that kept him out since August. Baba returned this weekend in the 53rd minute of his side’s 4-1 defeat to European Champions Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The developments will be a big boost for the Black Stars who will take on Brazil and Nicaragua in exhibition games later this month.
Midfielder Elisha Owusu who hasn’t featured for KAA Gent since July due to an unknown injury is yet to recover from the injury and he’s unlikely to be available for the friendly games.
Hull City forward Benjamin Tetteh is completely ruled out of the games due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Hull City’s 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United early this month. The bulky forward is expected to be out for at least 4-6 weeks.

Head Coach Otto Addo is expected to announce a replacement for Benjamin Tetteh and Elisha Owusu if he’s not fit in time for the games.
Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France, before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
