Posted by Thirty Nine players have been invited by Coach Yussif Basigi to the National U-20 female team (Black Princesses) to prepare for the U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Guinea Bissau.
In the team are likes of Stella Nyame, Success Ameyaa, Faiza Seidu, Afi Amenyaku, Helen Alormenu, Sarah Kulible and so on who played key roles in the team’s WAFU triumph earlier this year have been included in the side.
Mary Amponsah who recently led Ghanaian champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies to win the WAFU Zone B Champions League is also included in the team.
The team is expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in prampram on Wednesday, September 13th to begin preparations ahead of the qualifiers.
The Black Princesses will play Guinea Bissau on Sunday, October 8 before hosting them on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in the return fixture.
