The 2023 and the second edition of the Nsenkyire Cup will commence today, Friday, September 1 at the Nsenkyire Stadium, where betPawa Premier League side Samartex play their home games.
The competition this year will run until Sunday, September 3 and will involve hosts Samartex 1996, Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman.
The opening day of the competition will see Samartex 1996 take on Legon Cities FC at 1pm, and Berekum Chelsea face Nsoatreman in the second game of the day at 4pm.
On Saturday, September 2, Berekum Chelsea will take on Legon Cities at 1pm and Nsoatreman face Samartex in the second game at 4pm.
The curtains will be drawn on Sunday, September 3 when Legon Cities face Nsoatreman and Samrtex play Berekum Chelsea.

Involving clubs in the all-play-all tournament will use the games to prepare for the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League season which is scheduled to kick off on Friday, September 15.
Winners of the competition which is only the second edition will take home a giant trophy and other prizes, which include money.
In the first edition in 2021, Samartex emerged winners after beating Asokwa Deportivo 1-0 in the final. Sekondi Hasaacas and Asokwa Deportivo also featured in the competition, finishing in 3rd and 4th place respectively.
