Captain of the Ghana Black Stars, André Ayew has been named in WhoScored.com’s 2019/20 Championship team of the season.
Ayew has been astounding this season for Swansea City, guiding the team to a Championship playoff spot where they’ll face Brentford City.
The 29-year-old scored 15 times and provided an additional seven assists for Steve Cooper’s side and was the third most fouled player (99) in the Championship this season.
An impressive performance that hasn’t gone unnoticed as WhoScored use their unique rating system to include the Ghanaian international in their team of the season.
He made the list with a rating of 7.35, becoming the first and only Swansea player to make the WhoScored.com Championship team of the season.
Ayew is expected to be at his best when Swansea City face Brentford City in the first leg of the Championship playoff this weekend.
