Thomas Partey who has a £43.5 million release clause and a contract that runs till 2023 at Atlético Madrid is linked with a move away from the Spanish club, with Arsenal being favorites to secure his services.
Former Juventus midfielder, Stephen Appiah becomes the latest player to add his voice to the growing speculations surrounding the midfielder’s future, he urged Partey to join Arsenal for easy adaptability.
“He is one of the best so at this particular moment he knows what is good and bad for him. During my hey days, I take the decisions that if I go to Fenerbache it is good than to go to Chievo Verona”
“It will be a difficult decision for him if it is true that Arsenal wants him but I think his style of play will suit Arsenal very well” he added.
According to reports, Thomas Partey who has been an integral member of Atlético Madrid and Simeone’s team has been offered Partey a new and improved contract at Atlético.
The Spanish club will hope they can come into agreement and shield him away from suitors.
