The former Juventus midfielder made his selection based on the players he played with during his tenure as a Black Stars player
Stephen Appiah selected Richard Kingson as goalkeeper, Francis Amankwah as right back, Patrick Allotey as left back and Sammy Kuffour and John Mensah as center backs.
Stephen Appiah picked a 4 man midfield of himself, Micheal Essien, Laryea Kingston and Sulley Muntari
He selected Ghana’s first two all time scorers Asamoah Gyan and Abedi Pele to lead the line.
Stephen Appiah featured for the Black Stars from 1995 to 2010. He captained the team to the 2006 World Cup in Germany and 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
