Posted by Six Ghanaian clubs have made the list of top 100 clubs ranked in Africa, according to a ranking made by Footballdatabase.com.
The ranking was done based on the clubs performances in their respective leagues and African competitions (CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup) in recent years.
Asante Kotoko is Ghana’s highest ranked club in 34th position with 1426 points. AshantiGold is Ghana’s second highest ranked club in 52nd position and with 1400 points.
Berekum Chelsea in 73rd position with 1376 points, Aduana Stars 76th with 1374 points, Medeama 91st with 1359 points and Hearts of Oak in 92nd with 1356 points.
Other Ghanaian clubs that made the list but outside the top 100 are Heart of Lions ranked 153, Legon Cities 177, Liberty Professionals 183, New Edubiase 206, Ebusua Dwarfs 209 and so on.
In Africa, Al Ahly are first, followed by Esperance, Tp Mazembe, Zamalek, Al-Merreikh, Mamelodi Sundowns and so on.
