“Shambolic” Legon Cities stumble yet again

Legon Cities’ horrendous start to the new premier league season continued as they lost 2-1 to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.

The Royals started the game the better side but found themselves a goal down in the 14th minute, Benjamin Acquah scored the goal for Ebusua Dwarfs.

Ebusua Dwarfs doubled their lead in the 33rd minute, Benjamin Acquah scored yet again.

Legon Cities were presented with the chance to reduce the deficit from the spot on the stroke of halftime, Joseph Adjei stepped up and planted the ball home.

Legon Cities after the break increased the intensity of the game hoping to grab the equalizing goal, but that wasn’t meant to be today.

The referee after 5 minutes of additional time brought proceedings to an end. The game ended 2-1. Legon Cities’ bad start to the new season continues.

The Royals after 6 games sit bottom of the table. They’ve have won 0 games, drawn 3 and lost 3.
