RUMORS: French giants PSG table bid for André Ayew

Reports from the French media indicates that French Ligue One champions PSG have submitted a bid for Black Stars skipper, André Ayew.

The reports indicates that PSG have offered €5M to Swansea for the services of André Ayew who has a year left on his contract at Swansea.

This comes in after the head coach of Swansea, Steve Cooper confessed that Ayew is a better player than the Championship.

PSG made the 30-year-old a target after Kylian Mbappe suffered a nasty ankle sprain in last week’s Coupe de France final victory over Saint-Etienne.

With Mbappe expected to be out for closely a month, PSG have identified Ayew as a perfect replacement, as well as a good backup for Mbappe and Neymar.

Ayew since returning from Fenerbahce on loan in the summer has been in fine form for Swansea City. The deputy Swansea skipper scored 18 goals and provided 7 assists in all competitions this season.

He as well powered the Swans to a Championship play-off place, but unfortunately fell short against Brentford in the semifinal of the play-off, losing the encounter 3-2 on aggregate.

The Ghanaian skipper started his career in France with Marseille, before he was transferred to Swansea in 2015. After a season with Swansea, he joined West Ham for €24m. Ayew in January 2018 returned to Swansea for €23m.
