Medeama midfielder Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’ has vowed to fight for his position.
The talented midfielder is enduring a torrid time at Medeama. He has featured in 4 of the 5 games Medeama has played this season, with all those appearances coming from the bench.
Richard Boadu, who played regularly for the mauve and yellow side in the truncated 2019/20 premier league season has expressed his unhappiness about the situation. However, he has vowed to fight for his position.
“I’m not happy with the situation I’m in. Last season, things were going well and I was always in the game. For this season, things have changed and I’m on the bench but I want to fight for the position. I want to get back into the team,” Richard Boadu told MahamaShaibu.com.
At the start of the season, Medeama were tipped by a myriad of football experts to be the team that walks away with the league title, but the story so far hasn’t been what was expected.
They’ve won just 1 of their 5 games, drawing 3 and losing 1. Howbeit, Richard Boadu is confident they’ll get back to their best.
“I know we are not at our best, but I assure you that we will improve and start doing the things that we used to do.”
Medeama will host Liberty Professionals in Tarkwa on Sunday.
