REPORTS: Asante Kotoko reach agreement with Al-Hilal over the transfer of Imoro Ibrahim

Ghana Premier League holders Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with Sudanese giants Al-Hilal Omdurman over the transfer of left-back Imoro Ibrahim, according to a report from Owuraku Ampofo of Joy Sports.

Following an impressive 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season that has seen Imoro Ibrahim score 2 league goals and provide 8 assists, he has been linked with a plethora of clubs on the continent and outside the continent.

After weeks of discussions with numerous clubs, the Porcupine Warriors have reportedly reached an agreement with Sudanese giants Al Hilal for the transfer of the sensational left back.

Per the report, Al Hilal will pay around $400,000 to secure the services of Imoro. The Porcupine Warriors will receive $150,000 in upfront payment and 260,000 in add ons.

The report also adds that Imoro will receive $10,000 monthly salary once he signs for the Sudanese giants.

Imoro is currently with the Local national team, the Black Galaxies as they chase a place at the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) to be played in Algeria.

The 22-year old played an integral role as the Black Galaxies edged Benin 4-0 on aggregate in the first round of the qualifiers, providing an assist for one of the goals.

If all what has been reported is to be believed, Imoro is expected to leave the country in the coming days to finalize his move to his new club.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese giants have also shown interest in goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad and Cameroonian forward George Mfegue. The 29-time Sudanese Champions have also shown interest in Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum.
