“Red-hot” Kamal Sowah on target as OH Leuven see Zulte Waregem off

Kamal Sowah was on target yet again for OH Leuven as they defeated Zulte Waregem 2-1 in the Belgian Jupilier League on Saturday evening.

The 20-year-old was awarded a starting place by manager Marc Brys for his fine form in recent weeks.

OH Leuven opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Thomas Henry, with Xavier Mercier providing the assist.

Kamal Sowah doubled the lead for OH Leuven in the 63rd minute, he finished off a decent pass from Xavier Mercier.

Saido Berahino grabbed the consolation goal for Zulte Waregem in the 70th minute after a fine work by Ghanaian international Daniel Opare.

The Leicester loanee picked up a yellow card in the 74th minute.

OH Leuven held on for the three points, earning their 4th win in the Belgian Jupilier League this season.

Kamal Sowah lasted the entire duration whiles compatriot Daniel Opare saw 77 minutes minute of action.

Sowah has so far made 8 appearances for OH Leuven this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
