The Premier League continues this weekend with some electrifying match week 7 fixtures on our hands. We take a look at all 9 fixtures:
KARELA VS LEGON CITIES (FRIDAY)
Legon Cities will on Friday travel to Tarkwa to face Karela for match day 7 of the 2019/2020 league season. Karela have had an horrendous start to the league season and are failing to replicate the sensational form that saw them play in final of the Normalization Special Competition. They’ve so far won just a game, drawn 2 and lost the other 3. Star striker Dawiase Taylor is also struggling to bang in the goals, he’s yet to get on the score sheet this season. Legon Cities last time out recorded their first league win of the season after beating Bechem United by 1-0. Making it 3 draws, 2 defeats and a win so far. The Royals will hope to build on last week’s victory when they travel to Tarkwa on Friday.

INTER ALLIES VS KING FAISAL (FRIDAY)
Two out of form sides Inter Allies and King Faisal will face off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday. Inter Allies haven’t won a game since beating Bechem United 2-1 in match day 2. They’ve since then lost 3 games and drawn 1. Inter Allies have the worst defense in the league this season, they’ve conceded 12 goals in just 6 games and have failed to keep a clean sheet so far. Goalkeeper George Apronti is available for selection after being subbed off in the first half last weekend against Olympics. King Faisal are yet to win a game this season, the only team in the league yet to do so. King Faisal after losing their first 3 games have recorded 3 straight draws. They’ve taken the lead in 2 of the last 3 games, but have failed to win maximum points. King Faisal are also without a clean sheet this season. Youngster Frimpong Boateng is fit and available for this game, the 19 year old suffered a knock after a collision in last weekend’s game against Elmina Sharks.

ELMINA SHARKS VS ELEVEN WONDERS (SATURDAY)
Elimina Sharks last weekend recorded another draw. The Elmina side has so far drawn 4 games out of the 6 games played, the most in the league. Elimina Sharks have also won just a game this season, the only win came in gameweek 4 against Inter Allies in Accra, an outstanding 3-2 victory. Elmina Sharks are yet to win at the Ndoum Sports Stadium this season, they’ve drawn all 3 games at the ground and will hope to change that on Sunday. Thanks to the two goals from Abdul Zakaria Mugesse last weekend, Eleven wonders recorded their second win of the season after beating Karela by 2-0. The Techiman side have a dreadful away record, they’ve managed to pick just a point on the road since joining the league. A bad form they’ll like to change on Sunday.

The Nana Agyeman Badu Park brings us the biggest game of this gameweek, Aduana Stars will welcome Medeama to Dormaa. 2nd placed side meet 3rd placed side. Both teams have had a stupendous start to the season, winning 4 games each, drawing 1 and losing 1. Asante Kotoko will play their 2nd game of the 3 games ban on Sunday. They’ll welcome Liberty Professionals to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Kotoko last weekend recorded an impressive 2-1 victory against arch rivals Hearts of Oak to go 4th on the league table, just 2 points behind leaders Berekum Chelsea. Liberty Professionals earned a record breaking 2-1 victory away in Sogakope. The Dansoman side ended WAFA’s 46 games unbeaten run at the Sogakope Park. Liberty have been excellent away from home this season, they’ve picked 7 points out of the available 9. The only game they’ve failed to pick points in was against leaders Berekum Chelsea in gameweek 2. Both teams will like to build on last weekend’s victory.

WAFA will hope they can bounce back on Sunday whiles Olympics will hope they can continue their impressive run.
