After an enthralling pack of action in gameweek 1, the Premier league is here again with another pack of football matches. The games this weekend promise to be more exciting, with the first match of the gameweek taking place on Friday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium, 3 of the 9 games this weekend will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium. We take a look at all 9 fixtures:


Premier league football comes in early this weekend, Kumasi Asante Kotoko travel to Accra to face the rebranded Wa All Stars, Legon cities Fc. The game will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday at 6pm. Can the Royals hurt the Porcupines? Legon Cities Fc come into this game after dropping 2 points away to Liberty Professionals. The rebranded side was 2 up and cruising to victory, but then slumped and then conceded 2 goals in the last 12 minutes of the game. Legon Cities and Greek striker Panagiotis Papadopoulos has been declared fit for the game, the striker was subbed off after 60 minutes last weekend after picking a knock and being unable to continue. There has been a lot of media activity ahead of the cruncher, Star striker for Legon Cities Fc Sadick Sule has vowed to hurt the Porcupine warriors. Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has been billed by management of Legon Cities Fc to perform before kick off.

Dreams will hope to repeat last week’s performance on Sunday.

Veteran striker Yahya Mohammed bagged a hat-trick and will hope he can add to his tally.
