Ghana Premier League new boys Samartex 1996 have secured the signature of defender Ebenezer Acquah and forward Baba Amadu Musah from Division One fold Skyy FC.
The two players have undergone mandatory medicals and signed with the Samreboi-based side, pending the official announcement, which could come in the coming days.
Despite enduring what was an unsatisfactory season, Ebenezer Acquah and Baba Amadu Musah were in scintillating form for Skyy FC throughout the 2021/22 season.
Ebenezer Acquah, 20, made 26 appearance for Skyy. He failed to score a goal but provided 5 assists and won 7 man of the match awards.

Baba Musah also finished the season as Skyy’s top scorer with 13 goals from 25 appearances. The former Dreams FC forward as well provided 8 assists and won 10 man of the match awards.

The duo were part of the Skyy FC team that won the maiden edition of the Division One League Super Cup last year, beating Tema Youth 7-6 on penalty shootouts after 1-1 draw game.
Ebenezer Acquah and Baba Amadu Musah are expected to improve the Samartex team that has set sights on maintaining their Premier League status for another season.
Samartex will hope to complete more signings. The club is currently linked with goalkeeper Fredrick Asare, Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh, former Hearts of Oak left-back William Dankyi, former player Victor Aidoo and some few others.
