Ghanaian professional boxer Patrick Allotey who was seen in a trending video raining blows on a football fan by name Michael Siaw during the recent game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium was arraigned before court today. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault against the victim.
Patrick Allotey was granted bail of GHC 100,000 with three sureties and two should be public servants. He’ll deposit his passport at the court registry and he should be reporting to the police every Wednesday. This comes in after he was banned for 6 months by the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
The case was adjourned to February 25th, 2020 at the end of proceedings in court today.
