Partey, Djiku, Amartey, Wollacott and Salisu nominated for player of year award: Full nominees for 2022 Ghana Football awards

The nominations for 2022 edition of Ghana Football awards was announced on Friday, June 17, 2022 on Joy Prime on Multi TV this morning, Friday, June 17, 2022.

Headlining the prestigious award which was established in 2018 to project Ghanaian football excellence and recognise Ghanaian footballers and other stakeholders for their achievements at home and around the globe saw Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, Daniel Amartey, Jojo Wollacott and Mohammed Salisu nominated for the footballer of year award.

Augustine Okrah, Yaw Annor, Franck Etouga and Imoro Ibrahim were nominated for the home-based player of the year. Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Victor Osimhen will also contest for the Best African international.

This year’s event will take place at the Grande Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, July 2, 2022, with top personalities cross all aspects of life expected to grace the occasion.
